Boston Sweet Boston

When it comes to travel, I often have visions of grandeur. I imagine creative journeys full of adventure, interest, and imagery in exotic locations around the globe. I do my best to fulfill my imagination by planning and leading trips to far-off destinations, but not all my imaginative ideas are feasible. Or practical. Or reasonable. Sometimes, I get so caught up in planning for "big" that I forget how precious "small" is. Aside from my time in the service as a younger man, I have lived my life in the greater Boston area. I love it dearly. Boston, and all of New England, is unique, picturesque, and beautiful. In the course of a year, the majority of my time is spent leading multiple-day workshops, mostly outside New England, but I still lead numerous photo walks in and around Boston. I enjoy and appreciate every one of them. Friday night in Boston, I had a group of photographers with me to photograph different perspectives on cityscapes. After sunset, we were fortunate to capture a spectacular sky over the already beautiful Charles River and Boston skyline. It is exciting to chase your dreams, but we must remember that our dreams begin at home. There is no place like home. Boston Sweet Boston.
