There is a lot to be said for finding a quiet place that lets you sit back and reflect upon everything that is going on around you. Such a place is different for all of us. It is not important where such a place is but, it is important that we all find it. Life is a busy network of roads with many intersections, detours, traffic jams, blaring horns, anxious people, and even some accidents. No matter if the road is smooth and sweet or bumpy and slippery it can take an exhausting toll if you let it. Take time and find a place that allows you to stop. Trust me, the view is always great.
For me, such a place is behind my camera. No matter where I am, or how hectic my life gets, I find great comfort looking through my viewfinder. Out wandering and capturing the world as I see it chases away the chaos of life like nothing else can.
Peace and quiet comes in whichever form you allow it. Even a cold, snowy night can be soothing. Try it, you will like it.
