I love photography; all photography. I do my best to be the best photographer I can be. I like portraiture, I like nature, I like scenics, I like night photography, I like black and white, I like sports, action, and so much more. But, my true love of photography is rooted in the outdoors and wildlife.
In 1986 my parents bought a parcel of land in Maine (I have a whole album on here dedicated to it) and it was there, in the woods, that my love of photography grew. I would walk the woods or just sit still in them in search of wildlife to photograph. Today I still love to do that. Seeing and observing wildlife is thrilling each and every time.
Get out and enjoy the outdoors. Take some time to sit and watch and listen. You will be surprised how much life is going on around you. This Bluebird and his mate were flying back and forth to their nest feeding babies. I just watched and waited for a moment when the male would land in this pine tree and his beautiful colors would stand out that much more.
