One of my favorite images from my trip was taken in Old Alburquerque. The late afternoon light was beautiful as I walked through the side streets. I found this scene and worked quickly to capture it as the light was fading quickly. I loved the light on the wall but, I loved the shadow play and shadow of a window with some chilli’s hanging. Chilli’s are a staple of the locale and almost every house or business has some hanging for good luck.
The EM5II handles the dynamic range of light and shadow beautifully. I was very impressed with the detail in the shadows in scenes like this. Again, the lenses are incredibly sharp.
